The Sonar Annex
The concept draws inspiration from Bangladesh’s national emblem and the word “Sonar” (golden), reflecting core values of bond, strength, productivity, and spirit. This diplomatic complex embodies a modern, dignified architectural language that reflects both cultural representation and functional purpose. The design features a grand central rotunda highlighted by a circular entrance canopy, flanked by symmetrical wings that house VIP entrances and public service spaces.
Clad in a palette of stone, glass, and warm-toned materials, the building presents a contemporary yet timeless façade - a Jute inspired walls. This project marks a milestone for our firm—creating a civic and diplomatic landmark that harmonizes cultural symbolism with functional, modern design.
