Wawasan Gallery: A Tribute in Light and Legacy
In 2018, our team was honoured to design theGallery 5 – Wawasan Gallery at the Royal Regalia Museum — a tribute toHis Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, commemoratingfive decades of leadership as the longest-reigning monarch in the nation's history.
From the entrance, visitors are taken on a journey through His Majesty’s reign, showcasing key milestones from the beginning of his rule to theGolden Jubilee. The gallery features afuturistic design withdramatic lighting,large-format showcases,digital screens, andinteractive motion-sensor installations — all curated to evoke a sense ofnational pride and reflection.
Architecturally, the design sought to break away from traditional exhibition layouts. We introduced a futuristic, immersive environment where form, light, and material converge to create a sense of reverence and progress. The gallery incorporates a dynamic interplay of curated lighting, monolithic showcase structures, and reflective finishes to emphasize depth and monumentality.
